Ruby Milam Cobb Newton, 83, of Enid, MS passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi, in Oxford, MS. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church. She enjoyed bird watching, working in her flowers, especially her lilies and iris and she loved her family.

Mrs. Newton is survived by her husband of thirty-two years, Frank Newton of Enid, MS; one daughter Sandra Cobb of Arlington, TX; one son, James “Jim” G. Cobb (Barrie) of Florida; one brother Clyde P. Milam of Metairie, LA and one grandchild, Corrine Cobb Hayes. She was preceded in death by one her parents Graham P. Milam and Ethel Driskell Milam; one sister, Inez Milam Lakey; one brother, R.L. Milam and one grandchild, James Robert “Jimbob” Cobb. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
