Sara Lee Thompson York, 66, of Batesville, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford, MS.

She was a member of Batesville Presbyterian Church. She was devoted to her family, loved life and flowers, made the most of every moment and was an avid Mississippi State fan. Mrs. York is survived by her husband of forty eight years, Robert Lee “Bobby” York, Sr., of Batesville, MS; one daughter, Rebecca York Bell (Marvin) of Duncan, MS; one sister, Sandra Wilson of Batesville, MS; two grandchildren, Leslie Ann Bell and Robert Walton Bell; and her mother Jimmie Lee Smith Thompson of Batesville, MS. She was preceded in death by one son Robert Lee York, Jr. and her father, William Jake Thompson. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
