Mr. Billy Ray Jones, 86, passed away Monday, April 27, 2015 at his home in Coldwater, MS.

Mr. Jones was born on July 23, 1928 in Kosciusko, MS to Orpha Ray Jones and James Madison Jones and was a member of Antioch Church of Christ. He enjoyed gardening and woodworking and loved his neighbors, friends, children and grandchildren. He was a decorated World War II veteran having served in the United States Air Force.

Mr. Jones is survived by three daughters, Belinda Lowrie (Donnie), Sheila Ellis (Elzie)and Marsha Whitehead (Bruce) and two sons, Walter Jones (Carolyn) and William Jones (Lisha), all of Coldwater, MS; 16 grandchildren and 38 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Jones; one daughter Wanda Jones; one brother James Jones and his parents. Memorial contributions may be made to Antioch Church of Christ, Hwy 306, Coldwater, MS 38618. Ray-Nowell Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
