Mr. William B. Rippee, Jr., 70, of Sardis, MS, passed away on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital - North Mississippi in Oxford.

Mr. Rippee was born on October 27, 1945 in Oakland, MS to The Late Maggie Slaughter Rippee and William B. Rippee, Sr. He was a veteran of the United States Navy, having served during the Vietnam era, and was a banker and a cattleman. Mr. Rippee was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather who was very strong in his faith as he served as a Gideon and a member of First Baptist Church in Sardis, MS.

Mr. Rippee is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ann Rippee of Sardis, MS; one daughter, Dana Aldison (Mac) of Sledge, MS; one son, William Ragan Rippee (Heather) of Oxford, MS; four sisters, Joyce Alderman of Greenville, MS, Patsy Robinson of Avon, MS, Darla Gregory of Randolph, MS and Carol Nanney of Greenwood, MS; two brothers, Elbert Rippee of Greenville, MS and Terry Rippee of Byhalia, MS; and nine grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 3pm in the First Baptist Church in Sardis, MS. Visitation will be held in the church on Monday from 2-3pm.
