Mr. Douglas Wayne Daniel, 72, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2016 at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia, MS.

Mr. Daniel was born on August 27, 1943 to The Late Lena Kopf Daniel and Clyde Daniel. He was a retired insurance agent, served in the Mississippi National Guard and he loved people. He enjoyed traveling and fishing and was known for his sales booth at numerous flea markets. He was a loving father, brother, grandfather and great-grandfather who never met a stranger.

He is survived by his daughters, Jo Ann Poteete (Ricky) of Senatobia, MS, Pamela Feeler of Salem, MO and Kay Sowell (Tommy) of Coldwater, MS; one sister, Joyce Boyette of Coldwater, MS; one brother, Johnny Daniel (Kelsi) of Mead, OK; six grandchildren, Jeff Perryman, Emily Saulsberry, Britain Johnston, Savannah Feeler, Roxanne McCullough and Mary Bryan; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Daniel Zohn, two grandchildren, Jennifer Zohn and Kenny Phillips, and his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Adams officiating. Burial will follow in Enerson Cemetery near Coldwater, MS. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 11am-1pm.
