Condolences

Condolence From: Myran Julie Jarmon of Midland City, Al
Condolence: I am truly sorry for the loss and pain that you are feeling. We've all had to endure the sorrow of losing a loved one in death. What helped me the most was prayer and faith in God's promises like found here at 1 Corinthians 15: 26 and it tells us: "And the last enemy, death, is to be brought to nothing." The Bible tells us at Hebrews 2: 14 "so that through his (Jesus') death, he (Jesus) might bring to nothing the one having the means to cause death, that is, the Devil." So we are promised by our heavenly Father, Jehovah, and his beloved son Jesus that they will not only do away with death, but they will do away with the one that causes death, the Devil. Just remember that Jehovah our heavenly Father can undo anything the Devil does That is why we have the resurrection hope from Jehovah. Condolence From: Neal Biggers
Condolence: I learned of Jim's untimely passing only today, having been out of the area for the past two weeks. Jim was an unusually fine person I always enjoyed visiting with him when the occasions arose, usually at Ole Miss or Bar functions. Jim will be greatly missed by many. His family has my deepest sympathy.

Condolence: "Could we with ink the ocean fill,
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were every stalk on earth a quill,
And every man a scribe by trade;
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry;
Nor could the scroll contain the whole,
Though stretched from sky to sky."
(From the hymn The Love of God, by Frederick M. Lehman)

The same words could apply to Jim McClure. We all have stories we could share about our relationship with him and all the fun and laughter that punctuated his life. His life was filled with so much love, for his beloved Angele, for his children and grandchildren, his friends, his church and his Lord, his community, and all the many who entered the doors of the law office seeking his help and advice. There would be no end to the words that could be written or shared about him--we would run out of ink and paper!
His life was a great adventure and we were privileged to share it for awhile. His adventure is continuing, in a new place, with a new body, and with the loved ones who were waiting to greet him. Indeed, he has experienced the love of God to the fullest!

Our love and condolences to each one of you, whether family or friend. We all feel a loss and emptiness in this time of sorrow.

Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers will be with the whole family in your time of sorrow. It was always a pleasure to visit with Mr. Jim when I stopped by the office or saw him at the Courthouse. He was a one-of-a-kind individual who treated everyone with warmth and courtesy. His was a life well-lived and one worthy of honor.

Condolence: Dear Friends,
My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
Jim was a very dear friend to me during my ten years of service as Organist/Choirmaster at Holy Innocents Episcopal Church. He was always so supportive of my music ministry there! He was always so kind and generous to me. After having played for Angele's funeral, he immediately came to the organ and said "when they take me out of this place, I want you at the organ"! I wish that were possible! I will always remember Jim, and the joy that he brought to my life during the time I was blessed to be in his presence! Love to you all!

Condolence: Dear Jim, I am so sorry to read about the death of your father. He will be missed not only by the immediate family but by his many friends in Sardis, his fellow attorneys, and the Ole Miss family. May the Heavenly Father wrap his loving arms around you and your family and give you comfort and peace now and in the days that follow. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
May God bless and keep you,
Stump
