Clara Louise McMinn Ferrell, 75, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North MS in Oxford.

She was born on January 18, 1941 in Water Valley, MS to Bessie Coleen Barnett McMinn and Clifton Robert McMinn. She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and served as church organist and choir member, until 2009, when she became ill.

Ms. Ferrell is survived by one daughter, Susan Evans (Phil) of Olive Branch, MS; one son, Robert Ferrell of Batesville, MS; one sister, Olivia Hudson of Batesville, MS; two grandchildren, Cliff Evans (Jessica) and Meredith Evans Quinn (Cory); and one great-grandchild, Lawson Evans. She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Lisa Ferrell Perry and one son, Melvin Ferrell, Jr.
