Ann  Brame (Whitten)
Mrs. Ann Whitten Brame, 90, passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at her residence in Batesville, MS.

Mrs. Brame was born in Batesville, MS on October 19, 1925 to Elizabeth Price Whitten and John Wesley Whitten. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Batesville, MS, where she was a member of the United Methodist Women and actively volunteered and devoted her time to church activities. She loved to paint, was an avid Ole Miss Fan and member of Chi Omega Sorority.

Mrs. Brame is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth Brame Byrd (Ellis) and one son, Wesley Whitten Brame, all of Batesville; two grandchildren, Ernest Levi “Lee” Garner, III (Beth) of Batesville and Ann Whitten Bright “Whit” (Shane) of Nesbit; Catherine Parr Garner of Batesville; 7 great-grandchildren, Ernest Levi Garner, IV, Sloan Elle Garner, Mickinley Carter Garner, Miles Whitten Garner, deYampert Brame Garner, II, Preston Shane Bright, Ainsley Elizabeth Bright; and her beloved granddog “Mia”.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius deYampert Brame; her grandson, deYampert “Dee” Brame Garner; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at First United Methodist Church in Batesville. Visitation will be from 1-3 p.m. at the church. Interment will be at Batesville Magnolia Cemetery.
