Mr. Jimmy Ray Lott, 75, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017 at his home in Sardis, MS. He was born on August 13, 1941 in Greenville, MS to Molly Melvin Ray Lott and The Late Jewel Lott.

He was employed in manufacturing management his entire life and served in the Army Reserves for nine years. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed fishing and was dedicated to his family, who he loved dearly.

Mr. Lott is survived by his wife of 55 years, Lynda Lott of Sardis; two sons, Billy Dean Lott (Sherry) of Sardis and Bobby Ray Lott (Tami Lynn) of Tillatoba; his mother, Molly Bunch of Water Valley; two brothers Jerry Lott of Austin, TX and Roy Bunch of Oxford; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Jewel Lott.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, March 9, 2017 at Clear Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Lafayette County. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2017, from 10 a.m.-12 p.m. at the Sardis Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home.
