Mr. William L. Turner, 82, of Batesville, passed away on Thursday, August 3, 2017, at his home.

Mr. Turner, a retired farmer, was born on December 12, 1934 to The Late Pauline Aldy Turner and Clint Turner. A true outdoorsman, Mr. Turner loved his life of farming. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church.

He leaves behind his loving family which includes his wife, Juanita Turner of Batesville; two daughters, Sheila Turner of Batesville and Vickie Turner McCurdy of Pope; two sons, Bruce Turner of Crowder and Jason Turner of Hernando; four sisters, Bennie Vail of Denham Springs, LA, Shirley Rotenberry of Batesville, Bonnie Burks of Hernando, and Lilly Newton of Batesville; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 3pm in Batesville Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. Larry Kilgore officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation or to Crowder Baptist Church.
