Paul  Douglas "Rusty"  Buford Sr.
Paul Douglas “Rusty” Buford, Sr., 61, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017 at his home in Coldwater. He was born on September 18, 1955 in Clarksdale, MS to The Late Robert Leslie Buford and Evelyn Hill Buford.

A hard worker, Rusty was known as a “Jack of all trades”, but his profession was a millwright and he was incredibly skilled at his job. At the time of his death, he was employed at ADM Grain, in Memphis and formally worked at Buge Corporation in Marks. He was passionate about Harley Davidson motorcycles, and loved guns and knives. He enjoyed reloading, target shooting and music, especially classic rock and blues. An avid reader, he loved Western novels written by his favorite author, Louis L'Amour. He was a kind man and a loving husband, father and grandfather, who was affectionately called “Papaw Rusty” by his grandchildren.

He leaves behind his loving family, which includes his wife of 10 years, Traci Buford of Coldwater; one daughter, Amber Moore (Randall) of Senatobia; two sons, Paul Buford (Kimberly) and Jay Buford (Heather) both of Senatobia; one step-son, Justin Flanagan of Pearl; four sisters, Francis Crawford, Mary Sims, Carol Ann Gurley, and Pam Howell; four brothers, Leslie Buford, James Buford, Gary Cannon, and Frank Howell; and twenty-one grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held at
at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, August 21, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Senatobia.
