Mrs. Annie P. Kennedy Tidwell, 83, of Batesville, MS, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2017, at her home.

Mrs. Tidwell was born on May 11, 1934 to Te Late Carrie Cleo Davis Kennedy and Luther Kennedy. She was a member of Jackson Grove Church of Christ. She was a member of the Homemaker's Club and loved to sew, quilt, and garden.

She leaves behind her loving family which includes her daughters, Kathy Berryhill (Delane) of Batesville and Annette Clemons (Jimmy) of Saltillo; her son, Dennis Austin (Cindy) of Lambert; her sister, Veedy Franklin of Batesville; eleven grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; and several great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy H. Tidwell; two sisters, Hazel Kennedy and Beedy Anderson; four brothers, James Verlon Kennedy, Alfred Kennedy, Arthur Kennedy, and John Edward Kennedy; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 1pm in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home with Bro. Roger Howell officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017, from 6-8pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
