Alyce Kyle  Williams
Alyce Kyle Williams, 87, died peacefully on Sunday, August 19, 2018 in Suwanee, GA.

She was born March 21, 1931 to Sim Hudson and Dorothy West Kyle of Clarksdale, MS. Her parents were well known philanthropist in the Delta and raised her in the farming community of Roundaway. She raised 5 children, pursued her love of art and retired as a Farmer of Prairie Plantation. She later moved to Duluth, GA to be near her daughter.

She is survived by her daughter, Amanda (Jeff) Borgognoni of Johns Creek, GA; sons, Walter Williams, Jr. of Knoxville, TN, Kyle Williams of Memphis, TN; and Robin (Cydne) Williams of Knoxville;11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Elizabeth Williams Eason.

The Funeral will be held Wednesday, 8/22 beginning with a receiving line at 3:00 p.m. followed by the service at 3:30 p.m. at Duluth First United Methodist Church in Duluth, GA. Guests are invited to a reception next door at the Odum Party Shack following the service.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 10:30am in Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis. Visitors are invited to join the family at a reception from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Heflin House Heritage Museum in downtown Sardis.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Alyce’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Bill Head Funeral Home in Duluth, GA is in charge of arrangements with Ray-Nowell Funeral Home having charge of local arrangements.
