I'm sorry I did not meet John Neal, but I did know his father, Huel. Huel was my daddy, LaVerne Dancy's, cousin. I actually got to know Huel when he moved back to work for NRCS(formerly known as the Soil Conservation Service) out of our Area Office in Greenwood. I worked in the Marks and later the Cleveland Field Offices and retired a couple of years ago. In fact, John and I are the same age! I'm sorry for the sorrowful time you are in, but trust that he knew Jesus as his Lord and Saviour and that we can all have a great reunion one day! I will be lifting you up in prayer in the days to come.
