Mr. Allen Ray Fontenot, 93, of New Orleans, LA, formally of Batesville, MS, passed away Monday, February 03, 2014, at East Jefferson General Hospital in New Orleans. Mr. Fontenot is survived by one son, Ray Fontenot of New Orleans, LA; one sister, Joy Ortego of Ville Tlatte, LA; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, The Late Nancy Ross Caruthers Fontenot and his parents, The Late Fernia Fontenot and Eliza Reed Fontenot. Dickins Funeral Home has charger of arrangements.
