Van Leonard Irby, Jr., 64, of Senatobia, MS, passed away on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – Desoto in Southaven, MS.

He was a veteran of the United States Army, where he was stationed in Korea during his time of service and was a longtime employee of the United States Postal Service in Sardis, MS.

Mr. Irby is survived by his mother, Mary Meriwether Irby of Senatobia, MS; two sisters, Cheryl Thompson (Bob) of Senatobia, MS and Vikki Damoth of Wetumpka, AL; and one brother Gerald Irby (Jill) of Taipei, Taiwan. He was preceded in death by his father, Van Leonard Irby. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Rose Hill Cemetery in Sardis, MS.
