Annie Mae Russell, 78, passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North MS in Oxford, MS.

She attended MS School for the Deaf from 1942-1955. She was a member of Cold Spring Methodist Church and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and collecting dolls.

Mrs. Russell is survived by her husband of 57 years, Joe Franklin Russell of Sardis; one daughter, Mary Ann Russell and one son, Joey Russell, both of Sardis, MS; 4 grandchildren, Robin Russell, Rebecca Russell, Heather Rayner, and Peggy Rayner; 8 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Annie Yon and Johnny Lloyd; one son, Jeffery Russell, and her sister, Rosie Busby. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
