Obituary for Clyde Everett Ivy

Clyde  Everett  Ivy
Mr. Clyde Everett Ivy, 74, of Southaven, MS, passed away on Friday, June 30, 2017, at Baptist Memorial Hospital - DeSoto in Southaven.

Mr. Ivy was born on September 13, 1942 in Sarah, MS to The Late Adelene Chambers Ivy and Jim E. Ivy. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He was a kind, giving and generous man who would help anyone. He was a devoted and loving family man, and he worked hard his entire life to provide for his family.

Mr. Ivy leaves behind his two daughters, Tammy Carol Perkins of Southaven, MS and Lucretia Norwood of Ingrams Mill, MS; three sons, Kevin Ivy (Christy) of Senatobia, MS, Chad Ivy (Krista) of Nesbit, MS and Joseph Ivy of Southaven, MS; four sisters, Lucille Johnson of Olive Branch, MS, Bonnie Brown of Arkabutla, MS, Patricia Gail Cook of Southaven, MS and Julia Luther of Sarah, MS; three brothers, Jimmy Dale Ivy of Alabama, Charles Whitsell of Como, MS and Billy Whitsell of Sarah, MS; and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 3, 2017 at 1pm in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Senatobia, MS with Mr. Darrell Brown officiating. Interment will follow in the LDS Cemetery in Sarah, MS. Visitation will be held in the church on Monday from 11am until service time at 1pm.
