Mr. Dominick Matthew Torti, 41, of Whitfield, MS, passed away on Friday, September 1, 2017, in Batesville, MS.

Mr. Torti was born on December 1, 1975 in El Paso, Texas to Floriana Villa Torti and Christopher Henry Torti. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corps for 9 years before being honorably discharged at the rank of Sergeant at which time he joined the Louisiana Army National Guard to continue his service to his country in Iraq. He was a military instructor teaching both Martial Arts and Marine Combat.

Dominick leaves behind his loving family including his wife, Amanda Gugliano Torti of Whitfield, MS; his daughter, Katherine Marie Torti of Wimberley, TX; his sister, Priscilla Lopez of Blanco, TX; his mother, Floriana of Wimberley, TX and his father, Christopher of Cedar Park, TX. He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Torti, Jr.

A memorial service will be held in Texas at a later date.
