Mr. Albert Lee McDaniel, 74, of Batesville, MS, passed away on Wednesday, November 8, 2017, at his home.

Mr. McDaniel was born on December 18, 1942 in Arkansas to The Late Irene Elizabeth Clark McDaniel and Homer Clifton McDaniel. He loved animals and affectionately referred to his own as his "Fur-baby" and "Grand Fur-babies."

Mr. McDaniel leaves behind his loving family to cherish his memory which includes his wife, Carolyn Kay Johnson McDaniel; his daughter, Lisa McDaniel Mills (Lewis); his sisters, Pearl McDaniel Traywick, Mary McDaniel Bridges Coggins, and Patricia McDaniel Holland; his brothers, James McDaniel and Buddy McDaniel; his "Fur-baby," Bella Jean McDaniel; and his "Grand fur-babies," Fred Jones Mills, Molly Ann Mills, Jake Lee Mills, Lucy Wayne Mills, and Stella Kay Mills.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Clarence McDaniel, Louis McDaniel, and Leon McDaniel.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017, at 1pm in Mt. Olivet Methodist Church near Batesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Panola County Humane Society.
