Mrs. Barbra Welch Manning, 63, of Senatobia, MS passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at North Oak Regional Medical Center in Senatobia.

Barbra was born on November 16, 1954 in Tishomingo, MS to The Late Hellus Greene Welch and Clifford Leroy Welch. Mrs. Manning was a member of Tishomingo Baptist Church and was active with various animal rescue missions including the Denver Dachshund Rescue and Transport, Kindred Heart Transport, Liberty Transport, and Lou's Labs. Mrs. Manning, a retired pediatric nurse practitioner and retired nursing instructor with Northwest Mississippi Community College, also volunteered at Hope Sullivan Elementary School in Memphis where she helped children who struggled with reading.Mrs. Manning was a lady who touched many lives with her kind heart and genuine concern for others. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Mrs. Manning leaves behind her loving family which includes her husband of 38 years, Joe Manning of Senatobia, MS; two sisters, Ann Crowell (Donnie) of Waverly, TN and Paula McGown of White Bluff, TN; her nephew, Patrick Crowell (Casey) of Gilbertsville, KY; and her brother-in-law, Carl L. Manning, Jr. (Dana) of Kansas City, MO. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Rhonda Welch, and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 26, 2018, at 7pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Bro. Gary Black officiating. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 3pm until service time at 7pm, and again on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, from 11am - 1pm in Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday at 2pm in Tishomingo Cemetery in Tishomingo, MS.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Real Good Dog Rescue of Memphis or to Sunny Meadows Safe Haven for Pets.
