Mr. John Drew Stafford, 94, of Senatobia, MS passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at Regional One Medical Center in Memphis.

Mr. Stafford was born on February 9, 1924, in Sondheimer, LA to The Late Alma and Leach Stafford. A member of The Greatest Generation, Mr. Stafford proudly served during World War II in the United States Army. Mr. Stafford never met a stranger and had a unique way of always leaving people feeling better after talking with him. He was a loving family man who was proud of his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Mr. Stafford leaves behind his loving family which includes his two daughters, Carol Stone (David) of Olive Branch, MS and Shelia McCabe (Joel) of Bartlett, TN; one son, Drew Stafford (Becky) of Senatobia; four grandchildren, Jennifer Martin of Clarksville, TN, Nicole McCabe of Lafayette, IN, Max McCabe of Bartlett, TN, and Bethany Stafford of Senatobia; three great-grandchildren, Jameson Martin, Fallon Martin, and Fiona McCabe.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Faye Stafford and his grandchild, Carly McCabe.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 10, 2018 at 2pm in the Senatobia Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery in Coldwater, MS. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Monday from 1pm until service time at 2pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to LeBonheur Children's Medical Center in Memphis, TN.
