Obituary for Scott Allen Wollbrink

Mr. Scott A. Wollbrink, 50, of Oxford, MS, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2019, at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS.

Scott was born on December 3, 1968 in St. Charles, Missouri to Nancy Suzann Auten Wollbrink and Kenneth Everett Wollbrink. He was a member of Coldwater United Methodist Church. Scott loved his career as a truck driver and particularly enjoyed traveling to the southwest part of the country. He had a big heart and was a very giving person who would always help those in need. He enjoyed the outdoors, but nothing compared to the love that Scott had for his family. They were his proudest accomplishments, and each of them will miss him dearly.

Scott leaves behind his loving family which includes his wife, Joanne Neal Wollbrink of Oxford, MS; three daughters, Savannah Faith Wollbrink of Eupora, MS, Deeanna Marie Pryor (Shawn) of Batesville, MS, and Jayme Christen Perez (Mateo) of Water Valley, MS; one son, Scott Allen Wollbrink, Jr. of Eupora, MS; his parents, Kenneth and Nancy Wollbrink; and one brother, Chad Everett Wollbrink, all of St. Peters, MO.

A memorial service to honor Scott's life will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019, at 2pm in the First Baptist Church in Sardis, MS with Rev. Mike Jernigan officiating. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1-2pm in the church. The family has requested that friends attend in casual attire.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to The Make-A-Wish Foundation or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Ray-Nowell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
