Mrs. Mattie Elizabeth Terry Joslin, 88, passed away Monday, May 12, 2014 at her residence in Batesville, MS. She was a dedicated member of Sardis Lake Baptist Church since 1978. She loved music and learned to play piano by ear. She especially enjoyed playing for her family. Her hobbies also included working word puzzles, bird watching and gardening.

Mrs. Joslin is survived by by three sons, Kenny Joslin (Donna) of Oxford, MS; Bobby Joslin (Carol) of Cartersville, GA; and Gary Joslin (Glynn) of Batesville, MS; one daughter-in-law, Mary Joslin of Sardis, MS; two sisters, Marjorie Wright and Pearl Burcham, both of Sommerville, TN; seven grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Late Kyle Harden Joslin; one son, The Late Kyle Hugh Joslin; her parents, The Late Robert O’Estre Terry and Carrie Boling Terry; and one grandchild. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
