Mr. Curtis Wayne Tutor, 84, of Courtland, MS, passed away on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Baptist Memorial Hospital – North Mississippi in Oxford.

Mr. Tutor was born on June 10, 1931 in Calhoun County, MS, to The Late Myrtice Brown Tutor and Willie Carl Tutor. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of Calvary Baptist Church, who enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing and reading his Bible.

Mr. Tutor is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margie White Tutor; three daughters, Marcia Cosby (Billy), Debi Jordan (Gerald), all of Courtland, MS and Cissy Holland of Pope, MS; one brother, Delma Tutor of Tunica, MS; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents, and four sisters, Vernice Haire, Sybil Jones, Myrtle Applewhite and Tressie Gregg.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at 1pm in Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville. Burial will follow in Forrest Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the church on Tuesday from 11:30am-1pm. Dickins Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
