Mr. Hoby Roy McCullar, 54, of Batesville, MS, passed away on Monday, November 7, 2016 at his home in Batesville.

Hoby was born in Batesville, MS on September 13, 1962, to Martha Robison McCullar and The Late Roy Davis McCullar, Jr. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Batesville. A retired lineman for TVEPA, he was very mechanically inclined, could repair anything motorized or electrical and was a perfectionist at his work. He was a humble, kind and generous person, with a big heart and a very good sense of humor.

He is survived by his mother, Martha Robison McCullar of Batesville and two sisters, Cathy McCullar Jackson (Edward) of Heathrow, FL and Cheryl McCullar Davis (Wade) of Batesville. He was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah McCullar and his father, Roy Davis McCullar, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the chapel of Dickins Funeral Home in Batesville. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 1pm until service time at 3pm in the funeral home.
