Margie Katherine Goodwin Williams, 94, of Batesville, MS passed away on Monday, November 28, 2016 at Yalobusha County Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born on April 8, 1922 in Milan, TN to Dovie Leona Morgan Goodwin and Elver James Goodwin.She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Batesville and a hair dresser.

Mrs. Williams is survived by one daughter Edna Patricia Sutton Butts of Dickson, TN; two sons, Dwain Sutton (Jerry) of West Monroe, LA and Marcus Steven Sutton of Batesville, MS; one sister, Irene Goodwin Oliphant; three brothers, Travis Goodwin, Gerald Goodwin and Prentis Goodwin; three grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Harry William Sutton and Harold Doyle “Pete” Williams; her parents; three sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held at 1p.m. on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at Magnolia Cemetery in Batesville. Memorial contributions may be sent to First United Methodist Church, PO Box 797, Batesville, MS 38606. Dickins Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
