Mrs. Ruby Barlow Yarbrough, 76, of Courtland, MS, passed away at her home on Friday, February 15, 2019.

Mrs. Yarbrough was born on November 26, 1942 in Coahoma County, MS to The Late Lorene Taylor Barlow and James Woodrow Barlow. Mrs. Yarbrough graduated from Marks High School in 1960 as part of a class that remained close over the years. She retired after serving 33 years as a scheduler with the Internal Revenue Service and she was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.

Mrs. Yarbrough leaves behind her loving family which includes her daughters, Vicki Millette of Crestview, FL and Darleen Pierce of Cape Coral, FL; three grandchildren, Brian Tharnish, Jennifer Pierce and Jon Stetes; two sisters; and three brothers. She was preceded in death by her husband, David L. Yarbrough; her son, Robert Earl Pierce, Jr.; two sisters; three brothers; and her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at 1pm in the Sardis Chapel of Ray-Nowell Funeral Home with Bro. Michael Morrow officiating. Interment will follow in Longtown Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 19, 2019, from 6-8pm.
