Condolence: i was very fortunate and blessed to have had mrs. polly for a home-ec teacher. she was awesome!! we learned so much and had so much fun. that lady had as much patience as job with our class. she had too. we certainly were not the best in cooks. the day we burnt the cookies and filled the room with smoke- oh my, she laughed and we cried and laughed and she assured us that all would be ok, even though the firetrucks came. what a teacher and a lady!!! what a wonderful memory and blessing!

Condolence: Miss Polly will be greatly missed by all of her Sardis neighbors. She was a kind and loving friend. We will especially miss her at the American Legion Auxiliary, her loyalty kept the organization running for years when others would have let it die.
